The Houston Regional GIS Expo is presented by the Houston-Galveston Area Council's Geographic Data Workgroup together with Houston TranStar. The event represents GIS technologies across a 13 county area of Southeast Texas. As customary in Houston Regional GIS events, the Expo will bring together academics, government officials, engineers, not for profit organizations and other practitioners who are engaged in GIS and related technologies to network and showcase their work.

There is no cost to attend this event (thanks to our sponsors!). There will be plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, find out the latest about GIS and it's applications in the Houston area and network with your peers.
Houston TranStar will be offering complimentary tours of their facilities. The Houston TranStar consortium is a partnership of four government agencies that are responsible for providing Transportation Management and Emergency Management services to the Greater Houston Region.
Exhibitors / Sponsors
Participating as a sponsor and/or exhibitor will enable your company to showcase its products and/or services, and position it as a leader in the rapidly growing geospatial industry. The tax deductible proceeds go to provide meals for the kids attending the annual GIS Day. The GIS Day event occurs every year in November and we sponsor between 250-300 kids each year (Click Here to see photos from GIS Day 2015). The organizing committee encourages your company to take an active part in the GIS Expo and secure your place as a sponsor and/or exhibitor.
